Information regarding all tours currently impacted by tour suspensions
Select G Adventures tours into October and beyond
We’re continuing to work really closely with all of our partner suppliers including our hotel, ground transportation and meal providers, for select tours to relaunch This includes the increased health and safety measures we’ve put in place on all of our tours as part of our new Travel with Confidence policy .
While we are able to run tours in many countries now, there are still some restrictions in place which impact our ability to run tours in some countries or regions. Based on this, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend some of our G Adventures and National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures tours based on the current situations in those specific destinations, along with some operational challenges. The safety and security of our travellers, along with that of our staff and partners, continues to be our top priority, and this is a precautionary measure to continue to protect our travel community at this time.
Our G Expedition Antarctica season
We are excited to announce that we will running our 2022/2023 Antarctica season with our first departure setting sail on Oct 22, 2022. The safety of our travellers and crew have always been at the forefront of our decision making during the pandemic and will continue to be a priority as we prepare for our upcoming season. Please visit our Travel with Confidence page for more information on the policy for those boarding the ship.
Q My tour has been suspended - what happens?
If you’ve already paid for your tour in full
If you’re excited to travel in the future but aren’t quite sure when you’ll be able to go, we’ll provide you with a travel credit worth 110% of the price paid for your tour — including any ancillary services like hotels, pre-paid optional activities, and transfers but excluding airfare and insurance — to put towards another one of our tours. You can also use this credit for pre- and post-night hotel accommodation, airport transfers, pre-booked optional activities, My Own Room, or Day Tours. If you booked with a travel credit, we will happily reinstate your travel credit.
If your tour was suspended between February 1, 2020 and July 31, 2021 we have extended this credit so it can be applied toward any G Adventures tour departing up to four years from the end of the month of their tour’s suspension. If your tour was suspended between August 1, 2021 and October 30, 2022 your credit can be applied toward any G Adventures tour departing up to two years from the end of the month of their tour’s suspension. If you are ready to travel now, you can see all of our upcoming tours available to book on our website
If you haven’t yet paid for your tour in full, but have made a deposit
You can simply rebook your trip now in the same season next year and we’ll put your Lifetime Deposit20% deposit towards it (again, subject to availability). Or, if you’ve decided to book a different G Adventures tour instead, - we can easily help with that too — just reach out!
